Responsibilities. You will Manufacture Batches in accordance with the relevant SOPs including filling, capping and sealing. You’ll carry out appropriate and preventative Maintenance on all equipment and carry out Equipment Checks/Calibration. You will be contributing to Lean including 5S , Kaizen , Kanban and lean. You will look after cell Waste Management to ensure appropriate waste stream storage prior to disposal. You will be dealing with support staff on Materials Requirements. You’ll ensure all Health and Safety standards are complied with. You will Troubleshoot production issues. You’ll be expected to suggest and implement Improvements to increase capacity and efficiency. You’ll gain exposure to Upskilling and Cross Training where required and contribute to cross functional teams as required. Train and guide production operators and technicians within the area. You will receive training and upskilling to ensure you have the necessary tools to perform the role of Team Leader within area of responsibility and become Champion of the Small Batch. Ensure Proper Utilisation of the team, proper flow of work and all staff are working optimally. You’ll also carry out any other duties that may be assigned by the Production Manager, or any other member of the management team, including to specifically contribute to Projects and to undertake tasks. Requirements. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 Years’ Experience in a high quality manufacturing environment. Exposure to: Batch Chemical Manufacturing , Good Laboratory Practice , ISO17025 , ISO9001:2009 , Chemistry. You’ll need your 3rd Level Science Qualification.
