FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a talented and highly experienced Embedded Software Engineer . In your new role as an Embedded Software Engineer , you'll be responsible for developing of embedded software for new Electronic Control Units . Using knowledge of systems architecture and development, along with experience of developing in an embedded environment and a good understanding of C/C , Virtualisation, and Embedded Operating. Systems, you'll use issue resolution techniques to eliminate defects and carry out thorough analysis and testing. Using a robust approach to planning and scheduling, you'll agree a complete end-to-end development schedule for software including release timing targets. You'll also share your knowledge with knowledge with others on a daily basis, including mentorship of junior software developers. You'll be: Developing embedded software systems for ECUs. Using issue resolution to eliminate defects. Creating a development schedule. Mentoring others, including Junior Software Developers. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: To succeed in your new role, you'll need to be: An expert C / C developer and technically capable of defining, developing, and maintaining full software . You'll understand embedded operating systems including Linux, QNX, and Neutrino , and you'll have good knowledge when it comes to software structures / architectures . You'll also have in-depth experience of working with software development process and industry tool sets along with and understanding of how to define system variability, error handling, and robustness processes. You'll have: In-depth experienced of developing in C /C. An understanding of embedded Operating Systems. Knowledge of software development processes and industry tool sets.
