Our client wants their people to be the best in their field, which is why you’ll receive a minimum of three months’ training in one of our existing service areas in Ireland. During this time, accommodation will be provided. As a Field Service Technician, you will service, maintain and repair our client’s wind turbines throughout Kilrush or Ennis and the surrounding area. Working with a variety of state-of-the-art electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment, you will: - Find faults and report on the status of equipment. - Carry out all tasks in a safe manner. - Complete documentation. - Take part in the emergency call-out rota. To be considered, you’ll need: - To be a qualified electrician or electrical technician with experience in the power generation, aerospace, industrial, agricultural or automotive industries. - Strong IT skills. - To be comfortable working at heights. - A full, clean driving licence and a Safe Pass Card. Positive and proactive, as a Field Service Technician, you’ll have a great eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills. You’ll also be self-motivated, highly-organised and able to prioritise your workload. Experience of working on wind turbines would be beneficial to your application.
