Fexco Aviation Services are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team based in Shannon, Co. Clare. Company Background. Based in Shannon, Co. Clare, Fexco Aviation Services (the “Company”) is a subsidiary of Fexco Group. The Company provides outsourced financial services, principally to the aviation industry, by servicing Aircraft and Engine Owning SPV’s along with Securitization and similar transactions. The company provides Accounting, Administrative, Cash Management and Company Secretarial services to its clients. The Company provides complete general ledger accounting, financial reporting and analysis, daily transaction processing, customer billing, and cash management services. The co-ordination of other external services such as audit, tax and legal advice is also provided. Main Responsibilities. Your main responsibilities would be: Preparation of monthly cash reports. Preparation of budgets / forecasts. Calculation of monthly payments. Preparation of accounting information for a number of big ticket leasing entities. Preparation and filing of annual accounts and submissions. Preparation of quarterly board papers to tight deadlines and attendance at board meetings. Approval of payments to third parties. Monitoring compliance with corporate formalities and operative agreements. Dealing with external parties. Preparation / filing VAT and statutory returns. Drafting Board minutes. Supervising junior staff. Special projects as required. Qualifications / Experience Required. Newly qualified ACA/ACCA or up to 3 years PQE. Previous experience in a similar role with good working knowledge of accounting information. Aircraft Leasing experience an advantage. PC literate with excellent excel skills. Understanding of consolidation accounting principles. Competencies Required. The successful candidate is likely to be: Excellent interpersonal / communication skills essential.
