A Road Freight Export Operator is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Shannon based client. This is an opportunity to join a well-established Shannon-based client with networks across Europe. THE ROLE: * To provide a professional and efficient road freight operations service to both internal and external customers. * Processing shipment bookings. * Monitoring shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at final destination and customer payment. * Providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. * Liaise with local and international hauliers and agents to ensure the best rates and times. * Liaise with transport personnel regarding collections or deliveries. * Work with the warehouse to process shipments. * Organising freight for distribution, export and import. * Processing sales and purchase invoices. * Sealing with any queries relating to invoices. * Issuing quotations. REQUIREMENTS: * Previous experience in road freight essential. * Excellent administration experience. * Excellent telephone skills and customer service experience. * Forklift License desirable but not essential. * Excellent problem-solving skills.
