A Supplier Quality Engineer is required by Careerwise Recruitment to work for our Clare based medical device manufacturing client. THE ROLE: * Develop and maintain an effective and robust quality system which complies with all relevant regulatory requirements. * Ensure all supplier validation activity is effective and documented in a compliant manner. * Complete in-depth investigations into supplier issues and implement corrective and preventative actions, as appropriate. * Ensures that suppliers have necessary information and facilities to deliver quality products. * Provide overall quality assurance leadership in the management of suppliers. * Report on supplier performance metrics. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors Degree in Quality or Engineering field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Microsoft Office Suite. * Understanding of QSR/ISO regulations. * Knowledge of statistics, process control, and process capability.
