The position of 'Junior Mechanical Design Engineer / Estimator is being created to support the Senior Estimator in their daily duties. Job Description: Design. Design of ventilation and air-conditioning systems for commercial projects. Estimating. Preparation of material for the senior estimator to price larger projects i.e. supplier quotations, subcontractor quotations etc. Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure they return prices on time. Take full responsibility of pricing lower end projects e.g. split systems, VRV systems, heat pumps etc. Support the external sales team with respect to customer requests for technical information, updated quotes or any product certificatio. Input customer and pricing data into Sage CRM. Ensure all projects carry the correct status in CRM for review by Senior Estimator and MD. Update Sage CRM with customer interactions in real time. Create handover packages for construction managers as per companies ISO standard procedures. Requirements: 3rd level Qualification in Building Services Engineering (Diploma or above. This is an office based position in Ennis and the candidate will need to have the ability to manage their own time effectively, complete tasks in a timely manner, work well under pressure and be technically minded. The successful candidate will receive full product training, Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word, and AutoCAD 2-D essential.
