***desktop support engineer*** our client, a financial services multinational headquartered in the shannon region are now, due to a significant expansion in staff numbers, actively seeking an experienced desktop support engineer to join their it infrastructure team. this role : as a key part of the business support group & reporting directly to the it infrastructure manager, this new hire will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and administration to end users up to executive/director level & remote staff. you will be heavily involved in setting up new it equipment & infrastructure as well as maintaining existing systems, handling requests, project management & implementation from an it perspective & all related aspects of systems administration & reporting. your skills/experience that we need : 3rd level degree qualified in an it or related discipline. 3-4 years minimum experience in a large corporate or multinational level organisation. strong experience in administration support for cloud application & microsoft technologies such as active directory, office365, etc. knowledge of wireless servers, vmware & patch management using tools such as wsus/sccm, etc. excellent ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority. the offer : this position is being offered with a starting salary depending on experience but expected to be 40-45k approx. base salary plus pension, health care, bonus (up to 6%) & many other additional benefits. how to apply : if youre interested, call thomas hogan in cpl limerick on 061221701 or email your cv to thomas.hogan@cpl.ie. all applications will be completely confidential. for a look at all our other open jobs, check www.cpl.ie.
