A Procurement Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Clare based client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to join a very established company for a permanent contract. THE ROLE: * Delivery of procurement services to the company's business units. * Management of the supply chain from project inception to contract placement. * Ensure compliance with EU, National and internal procurement policies and procedures. * Work to continually improve the procurement function through the development and refinement of procurement processes, service levels, policies and procedures. * Lead contract negotiations and tendering processes, fostering best supplier relationships within an appropriate legal framework. REQUIREMENTS: * In depth knowledge and experience of the tendering/buyer process within a Public Sector organisation. * Excellent understanding of contractual legal terms and conditions. * Process oriented with analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail. * Accounts experience an advantage.
