Description

Our client, a growing manufacturing company in Shannon is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. Responsibilities. Ensure compliance to all applicable regulatory standards and current GMP procedures and practices. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Understands the Roughness Parameters and measuring techniques. Knowledge of GD&T and the ability to inspect the GD&T parameters. Perform product defect analysis. Good Knowledge in QC Tools and how to use. Routine final functional testing, product release criteria testing/inspection and recording of test results. Ensure testing is completed in a timely manner. Familiar with technical drawings, CMMS, GD&T and standard instruments. Review and update of QA Documentation. Good Knowledge in Calibration & Calibrating the Mechanical Instruments. Control of non-conforming product. Problem-solving and continuous improvement investigations. Experience in handling & measuring with different types of mechanical [Analog / Digital] measuring instruments. To provide assistance and support to the Quality Engineering and Operations function. Provision of excellent service to all internal customers for the production group or functional area in which they work. Decision-making ability coupled with the ability to work on one’s own initiative and with minimum supervision is required. Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills. Target driven and the ability to work on their own initiative. Qualifications/ Experience. Diploma/Degree in Quality or Engineering Discipline is an advantage. Minimum of 3-5 years in the manufacturing sector. Decision-making ability coupled with the ability to work on one’s own initiative and with minimum supervision is required. Ideally strong mechanical and manufacturing knowledge. Good interpersonal skills and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail.
