I am delighted to be assisting this well-known highly respected multinational company in Shannon. They are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join their growing team. They work with heavy industrial clients across the world and there is opportunity for international travel within the role. The Quality Engineer (QE) will be responsible for supplier development and will manage supplier quality requirements. Responsibilities: Manage supplier quality activities with focus on CAPA's, supplier's approval, qualifications, development, process control, and quality assurance. Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality performance through Lean Six Sigma methodology. Monitor suppliers' non-conformances and identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Provide technical guidance to suppliers towards assuring product/process compliance with engineering. Qualifications & Experience: Level 8 degree in Engineering. Experience in Engineering with a Mechanical/Electronics background is desirable. Experience in managing projects. Experience in conducting internal/external audits.
