Summary JO-1911-440591. The Production Specialist role is new to EMEA the will be responsible for programming, assembling and repair of a variety of products in multiple teams, while ensuring the companies high standards around Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost are upheld. The Production Technician will also engage with the MET and will be able assist in the maintenance a repair of production equipment. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lead, coach and drive team members to achieve and improve site KPIs. Assist Leads with the sequencing of production configuration cells. Running production processes and able to perform efficiently with ability to train. Has the ability to identify areas of improvement, specifically on department process. Take responsibility for parts and inventory which is used in the day-to-day running of production. Proactively escalate potential issues in order to minimize safety, quality and delivery issues. Be involved in 5S / Housekeeping and other continuous improvement activities. To be a team player and support investigations into issues and support actions which will prevent them in the future. Responsible for all production equipment on site, ensuring products have built-in quality, maximizing machine uptime as well as championing preventative maintenance. Personal Competencies: Moderate aptitude for understanding Electromechanical Systems is required. Must be familiar with routing slips, material requisitions, and job / work orders Aware of when to ask for help and when to use their own initiative to solve a problem. Though primarily running production processes, motivated to identify and get involved in other activities to help improve the production environment. Considers themselves a team player and willing to help out with whatever is needed. Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift. Able to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Qualifications / Experience, Knowledge & Skills Requirements: Minimum 2-year experience in a Production environment is required. Prior experience with 5S or continuous improvement is desirable. Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiar with Oracle or similar ERP system. Familiar with Agile system or similar PLM. Language Skills. Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing. Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specs, international technical standards, etc. Work Environment. Employee works primarily in a fast-paced production environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels, frequent physical activity lifting up to 40 lbs, able to stand and walk continuously during assigned shift. Role may require travel throughout EMEA, NA and APAC regions, as required by the Business, so the successful candidate must have, or can obtain, a valid passport with no restrictions.
