Electronic Test Technician

An Electronic Test Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Clare based client. This is an opportunity to join a select Engineering team with our major multinational client. THE ROLE: * Operates production equipment, responsible for manufacturing and assembly of commercial aerospace components. * Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. * Utilize microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers. * Testing of mechanical and electronic components and advanced troubleshooting. * Supporting Manufacturing activities through the resolution of production problems, fabrication of complex hardware, equipment and training. REQUIREMENTS: * Requires a degree in Electronic Engineering (Level 7 minimum) with 3-10 years relevant experience. * Soldering Experience - ideally certified in IPC 610, IPC 7711, J-STD-001B. * Production assembly experience preferred. * Must have experience troubleshooting and the ability to interpret schematics. * Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
