My Client, a global player in the Logistics industry based in Shannon now requires a Control Tower Operative in Ocean Freight. This role requires flexibility and enthusiasm along with the ability and desire to excel. Primary Responsibilities: Work closely with overseas teams in all Global Geographies. Managing and develop relationships. To provide excellent customer service to all existing and potential customers. Manage Customer activities closely whilst goods are in transit. Customer Order Booking. Dealing with incoming correspondence. Dealing with telephone queries – both inbound and outbound. Dealing with Hauliers and Shipping lines. Management of KPIs and Daily Reports. Minimum Requirements: Freight experience in a Freight Forwarder. Strong Customer service skills, willingness to go the extra mile to resolve issues. Industry documentation knowledge. Strong time management, ability to work under pressure. Data accuracy/attention to detail, essential for KPI's. Microsoft Office skills and other Business Systems Experience. Ambitious, wants to learn and develop, team player. Ability to problem solve. Terms: Permanent, Full-time, 12pm to 8pm shifts. Package: €32k - €35k basic salary + 15% shift allowance due to late shift.
