Lead a team of 8-10 engineers. Manage their deliverables and career growth through mentoring and coaching. Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. Be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of payments functionality to support new devices and enhancements required to support new feature development on existing devices. Provide Engineering support for certification and compliance activities required to launch new devices and capabilities. Deliver interfaces that expose core payment functionality to third-party ISVs. Ensure that we are staying current with technology advancements in the payments domain. Work with cross-functional teams, define roadmaps and schedules, and deliver high-quality solutions for our customers. Ensure a high level of technical quality by driving architectural decisions and leading code reviews with your team. Work closely with Recruiting to hire engineers as we continue to scale. Qualifications: 10+ years work experience, which include 4+ years managing teams of 8 or more engineers. Experience leading full-stack teams delivering UI and server-side components. Strong technical background with hands-on experience as a software developer. Domain expertise with payments platforms or Point of Sale. Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing products. Passion for coaching and mentoring to help individuals grow professionally and technically. Strong skills with server-side Java, Android application development, and C/++ BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Engineering field. Strong communications skills, verbal and written.
