The core objective of this role is to oversee the efficient operations of the production floor reporting into the Plant Operations Manager. You will need approx. 10 yearssupervisory/people management experience with 5 of those yearsmanufacturing experience preferably in medical device field. This role provides a competitive package in a friendly and fast paced environment. Core Responsibilities: Supervision of all production operators. Overseeing a strong focus on Health and safety across shifts. Overall responsibility for production and quality across shifts, including Moulding and Subassemblies. Daily monitoring & recording of output, efficiencies, scrap, machine downtime. Conduct regular quality checks/audits on production as required. Daily monitoring for and escalation of any quality issues to the Quality Team. Participation in and ownership of NCs and CAPAs are required. Ensuring full compliance to relevant standards including ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and TS 16949, Ensuring non-conforming product and rework is minimised and root causes identified and resolved. Develop and adhere to 5S standards, including setting and performing 5S audits of production facility. Review the competencies of all direct reports and identify training needs. Complete performance reviews with direct report (including goals setting and tracking. Participate in any disciplinary proceedings involving production team members where required. Ensure all employees have received adequate training and that the training records reflect this in both Health and Safety and Quality Management and ensure that the records reflect this. Education & Experience: 3rdLevel Qualification in relevant discipline and certification in supervisory management course. 8-10 years supervisory/people management experience. A minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience preferably in medical device field. Production process troubleshooting experience required.
