A Purchasing & Supply Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Shannon based client. THE ROLE: * Management of Supply Chain utilising MRP systems to support production demands and sales forecasts. * Ongoing monitoring of stock levels to balance demands. * Provision of recommendation son planning of future investment and opportunities for improvement. * Responsibility for all procurement issues/activities. * Ensure approved Vendor lists are maintained and audited. * Management of a small procurement team. REQUIREMENTS: * 3rd Level qualification in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain management. May substitute for experience. * Minimum 5 years in Purchasing/Production Planning/Engineering roles. * People management experience. * Strong hands-on knowledge of MRP. *Production/Engineering experience desirable. * APICS or professional supply chain accreditation desirable.
