Programming Engineer - County Clare. Duties and Responsibilities; Creating CAM programs for all Trumpf laser and punching machines. Prioritising CAM programs in conjunction with delivery schedules. Supporting machine operators when issues arise. Controlling, monitoring and ordering tooling for Trumpf machinery. Ensuring all work carried out is in accordance with company procedures. Assisting the Engineering team on various tasks to include: – Creation of routers. – Creating internal drawings. – Developing “Flat Pattern” profiles for sheet metal components. – Creating internal drawings to aid manufacturing. – Compiling EPF documents in accordance with company procedures. – Controlling drawing revisions within the Q-Pulse software. Requirements for this role At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar automated production and support role in manufacturing. Strong aptitude for problem-solving. Experience in lean manufacturing processes. Relevant third-level qualification (Automation Eng., Mechanical Eng., Mechatronic Eng., Manufacturing Eng.) desirable.
