This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable Medical Device design company with a growing reputation as a Senior Quality Engineer. As Senior Quality Engineer, located in the company’s sister company in Clare, you will be involved in developing and implementing the Quality Management Systems and associated documentation in the design and manufacture of Medical Devices and associated products. For this role, experience is required in developing CAPA, NCR systems and control plans to ensure that performance and product quality conforms to company SOP’s along with both customer and regulatory requirements. This role also involves people management skills. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSR etc. • Provide quality support to the manufacturing, engineering, prototype and commercial functions. • Coordination of Audits, Audit Team and Audit System. • Manage all aspects of Document Control. • Identify opportunities for improvement within the quality system. • Coordinate the Non-Conforming and CAPA system. • Assist with the development of suppliers. • Implementing Six-Sigma and Continuous Improvement methods and techniques. Education and Experience: • Degree in Science or Engineering. • 3+ years` experience in a Quality Engineering role within the Medical Device industry. • Clean room experience is beneficial.
