This is a newly created role which will support the marketing managers and the overall commercial team in the development, execution and delivery of the company’s digital strategy. Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Define and lead the company’s digital transformation strategy in order to deliver best in class customer experience, increased business efficiencies and business opportunities. Be the digital authority and create a culture of digital excellence inspired by business needs and opportunities as well as by digital industry innovations and insights. Use market research and data insights to identify key needs and pain points within the existing customer journey and create informed recommendations for change. Responsible for e-commerce activity. Lead projects already in the pipeline and deliver a pipeline of consistent improvements over time. Ensure effective project planning, governance and prioritisation is in place so that our digital transformation is always aligned to the delivery of key departmental and company objectives. Delivery against all KPIs, to meet the brand and business objectives. Focus on driving customer acquisition, satisfaction and loyalty. Key skills required: BA/BS degree preferred (Marketing background is desirable. 3-5 years’ experience within digital marketing at a senior level in a fast paced commercial environment. Result focused with strong analytical skills and a good knowledge of Google Analytics. Native digital knowledge, experience and capability and a strong track record of operational excellence. Experience of working directly in a digital transformation project as part of a broader business transformation will be a distinct advantage. Demonstrable experience of overseeing the redevelopment and transformation of websites would be a significant. advantage. Proven ability to grow brands, deliver on marketing strategies and deliver increased and profitable customer acquisition. Ability to demonstrate a content led marketing approach. Experience and knowledge of ecommerce channels. Have demonstrable stakeholder management skills, including internal and external, nurturing strong relationships to ensure an overarching and collaborative delivery of the digital transformation. A strategic mindset, commerciality and strong leadership skills and an ability to work independently. Possess a collaborative approach, have influencing skills and strong communication skills. A record of effectively managing budgets. Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and foster cross departmental collaboration with Marketing, IT, etc. Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to overcome obstacles by seeking alternative solutions.
