A Quality Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Mid-West based client. Would suit recently qualified quality engineer with 2/3 years experience or quality tech with the relevant experience looking to make the move up to Engineer level. THE ROLE: * Monitoring of manufacturing processes, field failures, supplier performance. * Support of the quality function in a TS16949 / ISO9001 Company. * Working with Quality Manager to maintain TS 16949/ ISO 9001 quality accreditation. * Develop and implement statistical process controls and metrics. * QMS development and administration. * NPI, PPAP / APQP Product Support. * Quality Systems Auditor, CAR system administration, Document control. REQUIREMENTS: * Relevant 3rd Level Engineering Qualification Level 7 or 8. * Proficient with personal computer and standard packages (Word, Excel, Minitab. * Good communicator and interpersonal skills. * Self motivator and ability to work under time constraints and ability to display initiative. * Knowledge of APQP / PPAP. * Lean /Six Sigma knowledge and experience is advantageous. * Previous experience in an IATF 16949 (Automotive) environment or similar regulated industry will be a distinct advantage.
