What you need to know. Due to continued expansion my client is looking to recruit a Packing Technologist to join their team. The successful person will report to the Purchasing Manager and will be responsible for ensuring packaging material procured meets the production requirements and that they are in compliance with regulatory standards. This a new permanent position. Your new job. Work with R&D and Procurement on identifying new packaging products. Identify specifications for all printed and non-printed packaging. Work with production to run trials to check packaging suitability. Testing performance of packaging. Involvement in production and quality of packaging. Identifying new technologies and suppliers for packaging solutions. Point of contact for day to day quality issues relating to packaging. Manage change control process for packaging. Drive quality excellence for current and new vendors. What are we looking for? Degree in Science or Engineering. 3 years experience in manufacturing/quality environment (ideally regulated. Experience in packaging development. Experience in customer liaison. Experience in project management. Excellent working knowledge of pharma quality systems.
