The Employer is a leading global company in the financial services / insurance sector. This role is within a 15-employee Accounts Department and will take responsibility for reporting and analysis, as well as a lesser element of transaction processing, for a number of legal entities. For a part-qualified accountant with a solid practice training, this role will pay between €25 and €33kpa - however, for a qualified accountant, a salary of up to €40k pa will be considered Position Responsibilities: This dynamic and diverse role includes: The production of monthly & quarterly management accounts, annual statutory accountstogether with all ancillary reports to tight reporting deadlines. Developing & maintaining strong internal & external relationships. The proper maintenance of financial records. Communication and liaison with clients, auditors, financial institutions and other team members to ensure the highest degree of client satisfaction. Preparation of variousmanagement reports and reconciliations. Preparation of VAT and Insurance related returns. Various daily and monthly administration duties. Ad hoc tasks as required by the Accounting Team Leader. Position Requirements: Finalist accounting professional or recently-qualified with considerable experience. Previous experience in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts is essential. Track record in the provision of outstanding client service. High degree of computer literacy and skills including an extensive working knowledge of Excel. Excellent communication skills.
