Company Accountant - Shannon - Aviation. Our client is a multinational aircraft maintenance company. This is a stand-alone general accounts role for Shannon, reporting into the US-based CFO and the GM here in Ireland. Day-to-day transaction processing - A/P, A/R and Credit Control - note relatively low transaction volume. Overall responsibility for the preparation of financial and management accounts, cashflow analysis and other financial information. Work closely with theGeneral Manager to achieve the above. Provide ongoing support to local operations with financial analysis as required. Responsibilities: In conjunction with the corporate and GM, preparation of monthly finance reporting pack. Daily bank reconciliations. Sales invoicing. Maintenance of the creditors and debtors ledgers. Maintenance and management of fixed asset register and finance leases. Balance Sheet reconciliations. Preparation of VAT returns and reconciliation. Supporting the budgeting & forecasting processes. Assist with IT systems and process design and improvement. Liaising with external auditors and preparation for the annual statutory audit. Requirements: Part or Recently Qualified Accountant. Excellent Excel and Word skills.
